Musthave: Ikea's new Sinnerlig collection!

Wow, have you guys seen the new collaboration of IKEA? It's called Sinnerlig and it's designed by Studio Ilse. The design is very clean and minimalistic with a lot of cork materials. It's just awesome! It's coming this August so a little bit of a wait, but we can do that don't we? ;)

Recipe flapjacks

Last night I really wanted some comfort food, after Nic has gone back to Australia I've been a little (a lot) depressed and sad so I needed some food to get my mind off things ;)

It's pretty much the easiest thing I know to bake and I always have the ingredients in my pantry. Flapjacks, golden brown deliciousness!

Like some of you know I've been to England to visit the family of my love. Never been in this part of England before, but it's pretty much everything you imagine when you think of England. Cute cottages everywhere, tearooms etc. Oh and like charity shop everywhere! The town here is called Aldeburgh and it's perfect for photos so here come a few...

(New years) Resolutions

Spending less money, that has always been an issue for me.. I have, how we say in Dutch "a hole in my hand". I love to go out and buy new stuff, and that's not limited to one thing...noooo I love buying clothes, jewelry, shoes, crafting stuff, tools...and interior stuff....

DIY (p)leather bag

Inspired by the Uashmama paper bags and some Pinterest pictures of leather bags I tried to make my own with some fake leather I had lying around the house and I think it turned out pretty cool!

Travel: Antwerp

Some time ago I booked some hotels trough hotelweek. One night in Brugge and another in Gent. I never been in both cities before so was really looking forward to it.
On the way there we stopped in Antwerp, because we came past it anyway and I really wanted to go there. I've seen a lot of great photos and blogs about it, but the image I had in my head of Antwerp was totally different, I could only remember the grey ugly buildings. And that's soooo not what Antwerp looks like! It's gorgeous!

A lot of old buildings and if you dare to go out of the mainstream shopping street, it has some great shops.

Like Interio at Hoogstraat. It has some weird and funky stuff and great gifts.

I love me some Crosley!

And then Wunderkammer at steenhouwersvest 13, this is an amazing little shop with all kinds of treasures...

Magazyn at Steenhouwersvest 34a is a gem, little bit too pricey for me but hey a woman can dream ;)

And of course Moose in the city at IJzerenwaag 10, the must visit shop with Scandinavian brands! They not only have interior products but also clothes etc. Really a beautiful store and great stuff!  

Right next to it was the HAY store, I was so looking forward to it but sadly it was closed that day :(

Antwerp was great! I'd love to go back soon, haven't seen so many great gems yet!

DIY rosemary Christmas wreath

Hi! Even though mr. Googels is finally here from Australia I keep on trying to do some DIY here an there. Yesterday I made this rosemary wreath, it's really easy and after you and your house smell soooo good! ;)

DIY stamped pillow case video

Hi guys! 

Tried something new last night, I made a flipagram video of me doing a DIY. I made a stamp out of a big eraser and stamped a pillow case with fabric paint. 

Thinking of doing this more, makes me happy to watch...what do you think?

DIY advent candle

Hello there!

Yes yes another Christmas DIY, try to get used to it...there's more to come :P
This is a DIY which I saw on Instagram from @lisannevandeklift (link is to het blog with the diy on it) she made a better picture anyway, and because I didn't read the diy on her blog but just started. I didn't even know there were markers for candles! So I ruined one by trying haha!

Anyway, super easy. Measure your candle and divide by 24...and put a number at every few cm/mm.

Advent calendar

Hi all!
I'm in full on christmas DIY mode!
Already have lights everywhere and even a tiny Christmas tree. Last week I made this advent calendar, the front is numbered from one to 18th of december and the back (which is not quite ready, still have to get more presents) had the other 6 days on it with bags with presents in it. The front is for me, with cute cards and inspirational quotes. And the back if for my love, who arrives the 18th!

Wooden star with lights

Happy to see you here again!
I'm totally getting in the Christmas mood. I'm redecorating, DIYing and buying a 1000 lights at the store... I love the feeling of Christmas, being in your home with loved ones. Drinking warm beverages, curling up under a blanket. So the house has to look that way too. I made this star with lights for on my table. it looks so good!

DIY geometrical wreath

I'm on a roll! After a while with no inspiration or will to do anything crafty, i'm now making loads!

I was thinking to myself I would love to hang a wreath on my door for Christmas but not the traditional kind and then I found a super fun and easy DIY on Pinterest!
